Not sure that people approve of me not killing the mice that seem to want to
winter in my house but I use a live trap and take the little critters about
100 yards down the back of my property and past a woods..............because
I seem to catch one each day I am thinking that maybe they are somehow
finding there way back.....my question is are they that intelligent or do I
have an Army that has moved in ? If this continues I am guessing that they
will be subjected to a more permanent fate. Any suggestions as I am on the
8th straight day of catching one............Thanks

It can vary year to year and depending on how many different species of
mice in your area, but the numbers can be as few as a dozen per acre to
more than a thousand per acre.
