Pest Control - Silverfish

We occasionally see a silverfish in our attic or the rarely used rooms on
our second floor. What's the best way to deal with this? Given the very
sporadic nature of these sightings, I'm reluctant to engage in wholesale
spraying of insecticides. Any suggestions?

I have on suggestion of other exterminators that have tried it, placed
ProZap pest strips in the attics of a couple of homes that had continual
silverfish sightings and I can't recall when the last time they had
mentioned silverfish as a problem. It's been at least 15 months on both
placements. Dekko also makes a place pack bait for silverfish that is
supposed to be ok. Both items could be found at a pest control supply
house or a do-it-yourself type pest control store...or over the web.

For the pest strip I used two in the larger attic..one in the other and
have had no detection of any odor issues.
