Hi,

There have been some insects that I see every now and then in my
apartment, but I don't know what they are. I have scanned a photo and
have placed it on my website. I would be glad if someone could help me
identify what type of insects these are. They are about 1cm long and
grayish in color when they are alive. I usually find them around paper
products and in dark moist places. They move very fast.

Looking forward to your help in identifying these pests.

Thanks.

Peter

Silverfish, probably originating from the attic /walls.

Oh, if only Noah would of been a bit more wise,
he surely would of swatted those two flies.

Looks like firebrats or silverfish. They eat paper products and fabric. If
they are in abundance they can do some damage to paper items and clothing.
Request from the apartment management to have your apartment treated. They
should have pest control service.
