my central ohio ranch does not have termites. but i got suckered into
the terminix thing. now they offer liquid defend system for 799 and
annual 199 for two years. i am thinking of just quitting the terminix
and get a local company to inspect and throw away the green monitors. is
this what you would do, and what chemical is terminix using now premise
or termidor. thanks jd

Terminix is using Termidor from what I am hearing. And, yes, I would
find a reputable local company.

I think it depends on what individual branch manager wants to use as to
what product they have...I haven't asked in awhile, but I know a couple
of years ago the local Terminix had termidor in storage, but the techs I
know had not seen it ever used. My personal preference would be to find
a smaller local company, that others you know may have used and do a
Termidor treatment. If you chose not to have a treatment, but only have
it inspected until termites are found, then treat, the termites would
more than likely be found before "damage" has been done to the
structure.

What part of Ohio are you in, I know you say central but what area. I see
you are on the Columbus Roadrunner internet service so are you in the
columbus area. If you are a little closer south I may be able to help you, I
am in West Virginia.

No Promises but maybe.
