If you are not a technician or an owner then what are you doing trying to
give advice to people asking for it. You even say that your only experience
lies in talking to hundreds of customers every week.
Look at the names of the posters or the names in the posts we use our
company names or our real names in our posts. You will see many such as you
have seen Lar, you will also see Uli, Budget Bug Man, PCOpug, Happybattles,
and the list goes on and on, these are all people that do this for a living
and most have been exactly where Lar described and have seen exactly what he
said and we are where we are today because of it. We are providing a much
higher quality service with a much higher retention rate than any of the
bigger companies could ever dream of doing. You say your company is so great
how many cancels did you guys have to discuss in your branch meetings last
month?
But let me tell you I understand where you are coming from, you are coming
at this with rose colored glasses on, if you don't believe me ask
Happybattles he will tell you the same thing. The bigger companies teach all
of you one way and one way only to do things and that is their way, when
reality is there are numerous ways to do things and many of the options are
far better than what they teach their employees. Go ahead and ask
Happybattles I don't think he will care, he may explain it to you a little
better than I can. He works for a larger company like yourself but you
really need to talk with him a little bit.
I am not putting you down for having your opinions however I think your
opinions are biased and will not be the best for what the people come here
looking for. If you were to do some research and find out exactly what all
is available to the Pest Control industry you would be astounded. I bet you
never hear of a product that makes an insects legs fall off did you? There's
one out there see if you can find it or if anyone in your company knows
about it.
