I wasn't aware we could use our company names here, many newsgroups don't
like being used for advertising. I work for The Bug Man in Lansing, MI -
lansingbugman.com . Definitely NOT a "larger company" .

I list my own experience so that the OP will know where I'm "coming from"
and take my opinions in the intended context, and so there will be no
question whether I misrepresented myself. Since the OP wasn't asking a
question of a technical nature (or referring to legs falling off bugs), I
am qualified and experienced enough to offer some of the ideas s/he was
looking for; s/he could take them or leave them, as in any forum. I
wouldn't even think of discussing chemicals or offering technical advice.
I am, however, quite well-versed in what most people look for when
selecting a company to do their pest control work, as well as what people
DON'T want (and are disappointed to discover after the fact) - which is
basically what the OP wanted to know.

I apologize if I stepped on your technical toes. Usenet traditionally is a
place where people ask questions, get all sorts of replies, and then pick
and choose what they need/want from the responses. Given that, I believe
my reply to be appropriate.

"Owly" is the name I have used on usenet for many years. Most people
wouldn't recognize my real name if I used it . But if you're really
curious, feel free to check The Bug Man website. And thank you for giving
me the opportunity to clarify.

Have a nice day.
