I have been servicing an account for German cockroaches with little success.
There are two cabinets in the kitchen that have roaches in them as bad today
as the day I first started the account, the rest of the house the roaches
are pretty much gone. Today I had to cancel the account because the people
will not make their cats stay out of these two cabinets. They are two upper
cabinets and the cats sleep in them and they also spray in them so their
urine is contaminating my bait. I talked to the people and they will not
allow me to use any kind of a spray at all because of the cats and they
don't see any problems with the cats in the cabinets. I told them the
problem is with the cats there they were always going to have cockroaches.
They think it is my service. I told them the rest of the house was infested
when I first came and it is clean now but they just can't understand. They
will not help me so I told them I will no longer help them. I even refunded
today's payment even though I had treated I didn't want them to think I was
doing it and going to leave them high and dry. I was the one that got left
hanging.

Lesson learned if they have cats in the cabinets and they have cockroaches
walk away before you ever start.

Couldn't holes been drilled around the cabinets and bait injected in that
manner ?

I don't know how you would have done it, these cabinets were falling apart
anyway. I would not have put a drill to them they may have fallen off the
wall. The only thing that could possibly have been done would have been to
place the bait in some kind of a container to protect it, but these people
were not going to do anything to help me help them so it was really a losing
battle. Sanitation is a key part of what we do as you well know and this
house is not at all sanitary. I usually do not notice the inside of a house
but when it is as bad as this one you can't help but to notice it. Cat hair
was stuck to just about everything in the house, including the counter tops,
dishes, in the deep fryer grease, on the handles to the cabinets, actually
hanging from the globe on the light in the kitchen. I mean this place was
bad bad. I could have also vacuumed but I didn't want to waste my time and
their money if they were not willing to help.
