| I am interested in buying bifenthrin concentrate. Is this legal for a
consumer? If I can buy it who is a reputable supply house? Thanks.

I see it sold over the web, so I assume it is. Supposed to have a
termite license if you are going to use it for termites...what are you
needing it for? If it is just for a barrier around the home, Ortho Home
Defense Max is .05% bifenthrin which won't be as strong as what you can
make with the concentrate, but should be rather effectve and a lot
cheaper.

| I plan to use it as a barrier around the home. If I use it on/around
the foundation, how long should this last? I was thinking that I would
have to spray every few weeks in the summer because of rain, humidity,
heat, etc. If this is correct then buying the concentrate would be
cheaper in the long-run, or would it? Thanks for any information you
can provide.

They claim a season's worth of protection, though the strength will be
less than what talstar can be mixed to. Bifenthrin is an effective
insecticide even at lower strengths such as the Ortho product is but
only after trying it would be the only way to know if it is effective
for what you are wanting it to do.

| FYI, I did find a pint of Talstar One for $29.95 at Southern States.
Seems like a good price and worth a try for my needs. Thanks.
