If used at label rate there should be no issues. The toxicity at label
rates is low. It is mixed in water so there should be no fumes or odor.

OK thanks

I have NO knowledge of any of this stuff

All I know is the guy comes around and just starts
spraying even while we are setting here

Should I leave the area when he is spraying?

Should he be wearing a mask of some kind?

First off, no pesticide is "safe" if it kills living organisims. There
should be no issues if it is used as directed on the product label,
which you can find on the net. According to the label, it may be used
in many locations, and there is no specific direction to vacate while
treating, nor did I find a statement for personal protective equipment
that he should wear.

I don't have a demand label in front of me but most labels
state that people need to be removed from treatment zone until spray has
dried. Some (state regulations) interpret that as the room totally,
while others interpret only as an area in the room of treatment. (The
window sill was treated so don't go near the window until it is dry,
while your desk is 2 feet away). Many states require 48 hour notice of a
treatment so employees are aware in case they have sensitivities to deal
with.

Should he be wearing a mask of some kind?

Different states seem to have different requirements. I would guess if
yall were in California he would be required to have a mask and there
are probably other states as strict. Once again it can depend on your
state's requirements.

The bottom line I believe you are asking is, are you safe while a
treatment is being performed. The generic answer would be yes, but he
has no way of knowing if any of the employees have any sensitivity
issues with what he is using, no way of knowing that until someone has a
problem. For what it's worth, I have never heard of anyone having
problems exposed to Demand CS.
