| I'm looking for a source for Birchmeier 2.5 gallon replacable
container-type backpacks. Seems I can find any model except that.

| I use a Birchmeier 4.0 gal "Iris" backpack re-fillable... not
replaceable. (Maybe you mean all the parts are replaceable. If so,
this is one of those types.)
Are you looking where to find one or just for a model type? If just a
model type, the Iris isn't too heavy when filled, quite comfortable,
durable and easy to maintain. Just keep a can of white grease for the
pump and don't overfill or overtighten the grease cap. One or two
twists when it starts to get tough is enough. Too much and you can
warp a seal.
Not sure where my boss gets them but I'll find out if you need me to.

Thanks, I 'preshit it... but I found it, finally. I've got over 30
hours in searching for it. My old one is 1850 miles away and worn out
anyway.
You might want to turn the head honcho on to these guys and this
"Closed System" model sprayer.

"The Birchmeier BCS contains the same features as the Senior 20K with
the exception of tank design. The upper portion of the tank is removed
to fit a 2.5 gal. container. A cap and quick disconnect is attached
from the pump. One advantage of the BCS is in changing herbicide and
insecticide spray solutions without contaminating the tank."

It's main benefit is there are no tanks to clean, you can rinse out the
sprayer all by itself and swap chemicals quickly. I keep containers
for Roundup, Tordon, insecticides, etc. and never have to clean them.
For big gigs I can mix up several containers and just swap 'em out as
they empty, saves a lot of time.
Thanks again.

| Oh, that's handy for weed, turf and ornamental control, definately. I
just do bugs though, and we only use about 3 different products in the
backpack. All EC or Flowable, no WP as they clog the filters too
quickly.
Good info though.

I just purchased one from Oldham Chemicals about a month ago. It is a sweet
model I must say. Kind of pricy but if you want quality you will pay for it.
They will also last a long time. I purchased a cheap one about six months
ago and it is already torn up that is why I went with the Birchmeier, I know
no matter the cost it will be here next year and the year after that if I
take proper care of it.
