Author Bed Bugs/Nymphs - look alike? - What else could this be?

First, I live in the suburbs of NYC. So not as many insects as there
would be in other locations. (Atlanta, Texas, etc)
But I have been traveling to upstate NY for work during the week (stay
in a hotel)
Ok, I stated in another post that I cleaned up the clutter around my
bed and noticed 4 bugs:
1. Spider
2. Sow bug
3. Small white bug - looked like a piece of rice, but smaller, in the
past have found it on old papers
4. brown/darker bug, looked like 3 but darker, perhaps brown...dirty
white.

I have been doing a lot of research on google lately, and I am pretty
sure insect #3 is a book louse/lice.

Now last night in my hotel room, I caught a bug.
I think it looked similiar to #4 (I think, cant remember what 4 looked
like).
It was small, like a piece of rice, but probably half as long.
Did not notice legs, but the antennas were noticeable.
Moved quicker than I thought it would have.

Trapped it under a cup but killed it by mistake.
Took it to a Pest control company today for ID, but the gentleman said
he would have to use a microscope as it was VERY tiny, very tough to
see.
He said he is not sure if he could ID it, since it is just a speck.
He did show me some adult bed bugs, seeing it in person is a lot
different from pictures.
They were bigger than I thought (non-engorged though, so they were
flat)
They were a little smaller than the size of Lincoln's head on a penny.
Normal size?
They were pretty oval in size, almost round.
And the horizontal lines across its back was pretty noticeable.

The bug from last night, was about the size of the "i" in Liberty on a
Dime (not penny)

But it was not oval, it was like a piece of rice, straight up and down
almost.
Just about twice as long as it was wide.
Like insect #3 (lice)
but it was a darker color, like black.
I caught it on the bed around 11pm.

So in conclusion, the bug from last night was a lot smaller than a bed
bug, and was not oval like a bed bug.
did not have noticeable horizontal lines.
Could it have been a nymph, or a different type of bug?
What type could it have been? (so I can look for a picture and see)

Thanks!
