Author what treatments for snails that eat plants?

live in Miami,fl and have lots of big leaf plants eaten by big snail.
what treatment is best?

Not sure that there is any best as far as treatment..any general
insecticide will give some control..and there are snail baits that seem
to get praises from the garden world such as Sluggo.

You might want to try the good old beer trap: Get a medium size bowl,
bury it so that the rim is flush with the ground and fill ist about half
with beer.
Next thing you have to do is empty dead snails and replenish the "bait"
(might even spare some for yourself)

Also - snails pickeled in beer make great hoursdevours.
