Author Roof Rats: Ditrac, Contrac, or?

Florida roof infestation:

Used Stuff-fit copper mesh to seal the A/C rat highways.

Caught 6 in traps.

Baiting with Ditrac.

Is this as good as it gets or is there something better?

BTW I designed a disposeable rat zapper.

Using an electric fence controller, 2-24" lenghts of steel baling wire,
a quart paper milk container, and a dab of peanut butter.

Cut the bottom of the container off.

Screw on the cap with some peanut butter in it.

Poke a couple of horizontal wires separated by about 1/2 inch through
the base.

Connect each wire to the fence controller, set it in place in the
attic, and plug it in.

FWIW

I would think Ditrac should work for you... I am actually a contrac
user, but mainly because I follow the "if it ain't broke, don't fix it"
mind set and I have been using the Contrac for years. As far as I recall
any of the Bell Labs products get the thumbs up in pest control
industry. Something I often find in all roof rat jobs is either the
property I am servicing or an adjacent property has vines growing
vertically for them to nest in...honeysuckle, jasmine growing on a fence
or trellis...English ivy allowed to grow up the side of the home or
trees.
