Author Tempo or Cykick?

Question for the pros,
I have been using Cykick CS for scorpion control, and it works pretty good
for just about everything but it's a bit hard to find out here where I can
buy it. I have found Tempo, and the bottle looks similar and it appears to
also be of Cyfluthrin, but at a higher concentration? Is Tempo as good
as/same/better than Cykick?
I use it outdoors, around the doors and windows and interior perimeter.
Using it in Central Texas/Bastrop county..
Thanks so much!!

The difference will be the formulation. The Cykick CS is in a micro
encapsulated type formulation, where the tempo that you have, I am
guessing, is an EC formula. The formulation of the cykick can be
thought of tiny balloons filled with the insecticide inside as they
burst, they are putting out "fresh" insecticide. Very effective for the
larger spiders and scorpions. The EC formula of Tempo will basically be
a layer of insecticide placed out where it can be effective on ants,
crickets and roaches but it isn't very effective on spiders and
scorpions after a week or two. Two other products that should work as
well as the cykick will be Suspend SC and Demand CS, both micro
encapsulated.

Yes Tempo is made with Cyfluthrin and it is also labeled for scorpion
control outdoors so I would say use it. I know Tempo is a very good product
although I have never treated for scorpions I have used it for many other
insects and it has not failed me. Only one word of caution be very careful
when mixing Tempo, if you get it in your eyes it can be bad news, wear
goggles or safety glasses with side shields when mixing it.

I thought the SC or the CS products were always a microencapsulated formula,
or a Suspended Capsulation formula. I am probably wrong again though, but
that is what I have thought. I know EC is always an emulsifiable
concentrate.

Lar, Kerry, or others am I wrong on this?

The other stuff mentioned in post are quite pricey .

I still love Tempo EC in roach restaurant control , really flushes them out
.. Never have Tempo anymore , too pricey . Baits and Talstar .

Suspend SC, Tempo SC are both Suspension Concentrates. Demand CS and
CyKick CS are both Capsule Suspensions, meaning they are
microencapsulated formulations. SC = Suspended crystals, no micro caps.

But they all work in basically the same manner.

Cy-Kick CS is easy enough to order online. The best price for the larger gallon jug is at http://pestprojoe.com

Plus they have an error in their system right now for a coupon code:$68Bifen

It is suppose to apply only to the Bifen product Wisdom TC, but it is currently working for Cy-Kick as well.

You can buy all kinds of professional pest control stuff there. Cy-Kick CS has worked the best for my scorpion problem here in AZ as well.
