Yellow pages?

All kidding aside, if you wanna work on your furnace, name a beneficiary.
You are working with gas, electricity and on the cooling side, some high
pressure stuff. Is your life worth that?

That is an animal rescue place, nothing there about service manuals.

Really, I tried google for over an hour and could find nothing. What did
you search for? I tried finding armstrong, but all I got were dealers, and
I tried the furnace model number, and once again only got dealers for
furnaces.

As a degreed engineer it doesn't scare me.

In fact there are several of us who have gone together and purchased a used
oil furnace, and are seeing if it is possible to convert a used oil furnace
into a used oil furnace. Hmm, that doesn't sound right. A used "oil furnace"
into a "used oil" furnace. Initial testing will be done outdoors. It would
simplify things if I could get a service manual on it, as it is, I don't even
know how to clean the heat exchanger or change the orifice and don't feel like
tearing the whole thing down to figure it out but will if I have to.

I have a machine shop in my basement, so I think converting it will be fairly
easy.

Thanks, I was searching in google for armstrong and simply could not find
anything on them. That helps a lot.

See Dude, Google *DOES* work.
Now call a dealer, or if your a licensed tech, call your local wholesale
supply house...but if you were a licensed tech, you would know that. FWIW,
it took .002 seconds for me to find the manufacturers web site.

Another fucking know it all, thinks his time sitting in a

house from burning down.

Maybe a pre-owned oil furnace? Fine, just remember that there is a lot of
wear metals in used motor oil and the people that manfacture the waste oil
furnaces have been down that road alot.
