Furnace - RUUD Deluxe 90 Plus, Model UGEA-10EC-FS
|
|
| Wes Stebbins 2005-10-23, 2:21 pm |
| Does anyone know much about a furnace - RUUD Deluxe 90 Plus, Model
UGEA-10EC-FS? I went to their web site:
http://www.ruudac.com/products/Prod...=Gas%20Furnaces
but can't seem to find the UGEA listed anywhere.
A manual would be great, but I basically am not sure if it has a
Direct-Spark Ignition or if it has a manual pilot light (which I can't seem
to find).
Any help is appreciated - it's starting to get cold.

| Why do you say that ("alt.home.repair, not here" - also already posted there
anyway)? And yet, you also end
YOUR message with a plug for feeding animals?
Is this not a site for questions such as mine?

Don't even bother with alt.home.repair on this one, check your Yellow
Pages instead. There is absolutely nothing more that even the most
knowledgeable and competent of techs can tell you about your system's
problem from here; the possible faults are many and varied. Gas
appliances are something that you don't want to tinker with.

First, no..its not. Please read the FAQ.
Second..this isnt a "site".
Third, anything can be in a TagLine..suggest you look it up.
Forth, and least important..if you cant tell what kind of ignition you have,
by looking at it, since what you ask about is different as night and day,
and even a non technical person can tell, seems either you are bullshitting,
or are too damn stupid to be messing with your furnace.

furnaces:

this is Turtle.
Look Stevey Wonder , alt.hvac has no charter and does not have a FAQ written by
the group. The FAQ was written by a HVAC Software salesman Paul Milligan 10
years after it was orginized and is written by him for his needs to sell
software on the sight. he runs off any other salesmen so he can be the only
salesman on the group. And if Remember right you sell stuff over the internet
too and paul let's you stay because you sell parts and not software.
Oh By the Way , Have i told you was stupid lately !

This is Turtle.
Yes this sight alt.hvac is open for the discussion of any hvac business by
professional or home owner questions and is very much open to any discussion of
the hvac business or home owner questions. Mr. Paul milligan has set out to
control the alt.hvac newsgroup by his on set of rules he wrote and called the
socalled charter. so feel free to ask any question you like and tell Paul
milligan to kiss off for there is no charter or rules here to follow of what he
speaks of.
Another not here. Mr. Paul Milligan is not in the business trade of the HVAC and
is just a salesman in the hvac trade and does not work in the the business as a
trademan. So what ever he tells you take it with a grain of salt. Also he like
to call everybody he does not like a lier or a hack to try to get away from
having to answer question by hisself.
Watch what he says now !

| Im not gonna bother replying to your trolling below..but I am indeed curious
Terry, since you just posted that bunch of BULLSHIT about wanting the group
to go back to normal, and how you wanted the shit to stop..why did you post
that after you went and tried to drum up support for you again?

I really don't need any support as you say to make a point. I speak , you listen
, and then everybody form a opinion of their own. Watch out Stevey Wonder , the
group members are listening real good now.

| If you can't tell the diff between pilot and spark -- you don't know enough
about furnaces to be working on them. Not trying to be insulting, just my
opinion.
I'm rather new to the HVAC field, and let me tell you, there is a LOT to
know. Yes, it will cost money to get it fixed, but like you say, it's
getting cold.

Do good work.
It's longer in the short run
but shorter in the long run.

Let me simplify it for you again.
You flame me -- I flame you.
You don't flame me -- i don't flame you.
Is this over your head or do I have to simplify it some more for you.
