Readership ,

A New England setting ... down to -20F .

A new Peerless steam boiler ... '63' model, natrl gas ...
.. standard dumb merc_tilt bulb thermostat temp control
.. one & only, located in front room of the house ...
.. 'house' is 3 rooms deep
.. new Hnywell pressure control box located on cellar boiler

Using in_place, existing steam rads ...
well sized to each room , judging from past heating track record
each rad new air vent equipped.

.......
Where to "start" with the 'balance' proceedure ???

?? farthest 'away' rads ; frnt room rad ???
and ...
start by closing down the air vent tite, or wide open ??

Gotta "be" a real black 'Art'.

You need to install a PipeBooster in each of the radiators. Closing
and opening air vents is a waste of time and only a temporary fix. If
you want it done right and economically, install the PipeBoosters.
They also increase your efficiency and lower your fuel consumption.
Let us know how they do for you.

Do not listen to anything that this guy responds with. He is just messing
with you and has not taken his ridelen and prozac today. Him and others in
this group believe it belongs to their profession only and are a few slices
short of a loaf!
