Nevertheless....I would consider it yellow because in actuality it
makes no
difference what color it is....one or the other will terminate at the
"Y"
terminal on the thermostat, and the other one is your "common".

Actually the two wire from the condenser terminates on the furnace
terminal strip on Y at which point another wire is also attached to the
same point and runs to the stats Y connection point.
