on a 5 ton gas pack....and thats just the parts......

there's a dozen more on that roof just like it....

and the real kicker is......most of the parts are 3000 miles away

hmmmm second day air or 4 weeks ground delivery......??

$2500.00 doesnt sound too pricey does it?

I agree with the other posters Fish, I lost a major account by planning to
change a Carrier RTU exchanger. They decided to go for the new unit.
I have found that changing those Carrier exchangers I never have all the
parts or there are parts that were sent but not the correct ones. I have
never seen one yet that didn't need a powerventer and new collection box for
the Venter motor.

Just my 2 cents

my gameplan calls for extracting $$$$ per unit over the next several
yrs in repairs and by then doe/ari will have 13 seer/eer in place for
3 phase, resulting in far bigger ka-ching, know what I mean?

Rich, this is a lifetime customer. The inducer motor & wheel are ok,
so its just all new sheet metal. I agree, what a weird collection
of....uhh.....parts.
Previously I've had to email pics to the distributor of the parts I
wanted because their books were so messed up. I dont care what part
number you call it, just get me the part in my picture!

My boss said I was dumb and apathetic.
I said I don't know and I don't care...
