| SUPERBOWL OFFICIALS 21 SEAHAWKS 10 - Six or 7 Wrong Calls Against the
Seahawks!
The Striped Shirts took 14 and possibly 21 points away from the Seattle
Seahawks early in the game.
The Superbowl may well have been a run away by the Seahawks had the
officiating been neutral!
Myself and my brother were complaining about those calls during the game.
Those calls spoiled the game for us and we were neutral Superbowl
football fans!
I was a fan of both teams.
According to ESPN - RUNDOWN, the officials got 6 or 7 calls wrong that
all went against Seattle!
I video taped those ESPN comments!
That might be evidence of officiating bias! (?)
Was there money on the game by relatives or friends of the officials?
ESPN - "Around the Horn and the Rundown too," agreed with us! -

Rabid Steeler fans sho nuff... - udarrell
A Quote from alt.home.repair:
I am a Steeler's fan.
But the officials made mistakes.
They were not "bad calls", but plain and simple mistakes. They got it
WRONG.
(I disagree, the calls were much worse than plain mistakes and there were too many, 6 or 7 of them. I would also like to see how many penalties they missed on the steelers'.)
My team won, but they had the officials on their side.
Seattle did not get a fair shake from the officials, and I think some
investigating needs to be done.
(There might have been some betting involved concerning friends, etc.)
The whole event was tainted by bad officiating. Someone mustn't care, or
they must have a big money interest in who wins. Steve

I never bet on any sports games or gamble in any arena.
Due to ridiculous officiating NFL football is tainted for many fans.
Nothing dulls enthusiasm for sports than poor officiating!
The officials outplayed and outscored the Seahawks.
I heard there were only three penalties called on the Steelers' and two
were prior to the Snap of the football.
"Only one penalty called on the Steelers' while the ball was in play,"
was it during a kick return? Unbelievable!
The Seahawks had 7 penalties called on them for 70 yards and a possible
14 to 21 point swing!
I would like to see an overview of that game to see how many penalties
the Steelers' got away with.
NFL Rule Book - Position of Players at Snap
1. Offensive team must have at least seven players on line.
2. Offensive players, not on line, must be at least one yard back at snap.
(Exception: player who takes snap.)
3. No interior lineman may move abruptly after taking or simulating a
three-point stance.
4. No player of either team may enter neutral zone before snap.
5. No player of offensive team may charge or move abruptly, after
assuming set position, in such manner as to lead defense to believe snap
has started. No player of the defensive team within one yard of the line
of scrimmage may make an abrupt movement in an attempt to cause the
offense to false start.
6. If a player changes his eligibility, the Referee must alert the
defensive captain after player has reported to him.
7. All players of offensive team must be stationary at snap, except one
back who may be in motion parallel to scrimmage line or backward (not
forward).
8. After a shift or huddle all players on offensive team must come to an
absolute stop for at least one second with no movement of hands, feet,
head, or swaying of body.
9. Quarterbacks can be called for a false start penalty (five yards) if
their actions are judged to be an obvious attempt to draw an opponent
offside.
10. Offensive linemen are permitted to interlock legs.
