On a 4 to 20mA device, use a 250 Ohm resistor to convert the device to 0 to 5 VDC or 500 Ohm for 0 to 10 VDC.
Honeywell makes a module that mates directly to their Modutrol's to convert to VDC. A .pdf file on the module can be found here:

The well known and widely used Honeywell Gray Book is available at the address below, it is a big file.
