I'm not sure what planet you are living on but oil burner guys don't
come to your house and fix anything for 75.00. The do however like to
bend over the customer and insert broom handle $300.00 later. I have a
friend who is a burner guy and he stated that it could be many things
and that the problem could be hard to find. I'm sure the right guy
with the right tools could probably find the problem pronto. Most of
the companies send out guys who can do the basics. They can tune, vac
and replace parts. There aren't that many techs who really know how to
problem solve. Most are in too much of a rush to drink their coffee or
get to the next job. Then we have the ones who try to scare the
customer into buying equipment that they don't need. It's interesting
how quickly the people in this group sling insults and call names. I
teach 4th grade and my kids make you guys seem like 3rd graders. Grow
up and get your XXX out of your head. Try to be more friendly and
maybe life will be better to you.
