| I use Firefox almost all the time.... unless some web sites insist on IE.
Firefox is a good browser... as a tech guy... I like the Google browser
plug-in a lot. Say you're looking for a manufacturer... or even a part
number... as you type into the search box Google will pull up matches.
This really helps me in doing Google searches to figure out what search
works best.
On part numbers, for example... we all know there may be a whole bunch
of numbers/letters in there. I start searches with the first few letters
and Google interactively pulls matches as I type. Neat!
For email, I use the companion to Firefox... Thunderbird. It ain't
full-blown Outlook, but it has a newsreader, spell-checker, and a decent
address book.
I still use Outlook at the shop... I like the scheduler-thingy.
ALL of our computers at the shop DO use Firefox.

Have you tried IE7 ?
I've been using it for about 3 months with no problems at all.
I think tabbed browsing is somewhat overrated if you have a fast
internet connection.

I just noticed this link, sorry Jake, I wasn't ignoring you. My messages got
sorted differently and I just noticed it.
Now, this Google thing, is this the google toolbar your talking about?

You mean without going to google it starts the search for you? Interesting.
I will check this out tonight since this is the first I've had some real
time off in the last two weeks.

I've been using xnews for a newsgroup reader lately. It is free and really
powerful, but not very good for email.
I wonder if Eudora's better than Thunderbird? If so, I don't mind paying a
little for a better program, since I enjoy the internet so.
