Thanks for your reply.... here are a few brief comments...
No....I didn't say "please" ....but I should have. So please forgive me
for not having done so.
In another reply I try to address the impression I gave of espousing
religion or christianity....neither of which I did.
However....I will say that in general terms I don't find simple
crudeness particularly interesting....and that the world doesn't get
any better when people make fun of each other people's deeply held
beliefs. For instance....I am not a Buddhist.....but I also would
never make jokes about Buddhist beliefs in a public forum....because
this is an international forum and there's no reason to insult people's
religions in order to talk about architecture. However....If we all got
together in private with a bottle of tequila I could be as happily
abusive and irreverent as anyone....but I'm one of those dinosaurs who
actually prefers civil discourse in a public forum...and this is a
public forum.
For a few other points....was I TRYING to be an XXXXXXX? not
really....but sometimes it appears that way to some of you.
As for whether "You all suck" ...I think that if you review what passes
for normal conversation in this group you will have to admit that my
words were pretty mild.
Cheers to all....even those of you who may actually suck (I assume you
do so in a private forum!!)
