What do you prefer on your Punkin Pie, Reddy Whip or Cool Whip?
We do the Reddy Whip 'round here.
In fact, I have a slab on the plate right now and its peeking out from a
giant cloud of Reddy Whip.
Mmmmmmmmm..........blattt...........

Ideally, a scoop of premium vanilla ice cream, otherwise 100% real
whipped cream.

I think that's the real stuff in an aerosol can, right?

Aaah but are the pies scratch made or canned pump ?
You americans do one thing right, have TG after Halloween ...
Here, though smart enough to have it on a Monday, we screwed up having it
after halloween so I have to use last years frozen pump. Then after
Halloween, I cook down and mash it and freeze it for next year.
Many of my inlaws now eat pumpkin pie after tasting mine, they didn't like
it before :-)
Now lets talk trifle as Christmas is coming :-)

Cooll whip is not fit for human consumption. NAsty stuff. Cool whip is at
least cream.

Best? Heavy cream, a bowl set into a larger cold bowl, a bit of sugar,
some high-quality liqueur, and just a couple minutes with a hand-mixer.

It's not difficult and doesn't take at all long, But boy oh boy is it ever
DELICIOUS.

Same for hand=made pumpkin pie - I load it up with lotsa spices.

I guess I'm just a Luddite ;)
