Heh ;)

Actually, I erred, it's 4 holes (I'd always thought brick was supposed
to be solid, but maybe the soil here can't handle that <?> ). I had the
thought, for edging, of putting down a base layer of some sort, then the
mini-light strings, then the brick, topped by something clear, such as
plain glass, colored/stained glass droplets, or acrylic. OTOH, if I'm
going to go with something of glass, I might make something (prob
concrete with texturing and/or coloring on the surface) and imbed the
droplets. Assuming I live here long enough ;)

I have to write this stuff down and put it into my project book, before
I end up forgetting all about the idea. Thing is that I like some
low/mild/"dim" lighting in the yard, just as a visual accent. Still
unsure of what to do around the pool; the wall is 2' high (from the
ground) and the waterfall-unit, which the pool people call "sheers",
consists of 2 6'-wide and maybe 1/2"-high openings, and I'd had the
fleeting thought of getting a couple of those "light fiber" units and
poking the fibers into the openings. Or maybe I'll just rig up some
sort of very small "lanterns" (i.e. "hollow thingies that can hold a
light inside") and set them around.

Basically, I have to do some reading about wiring. And then figure out
something that will be inexpensive yet still has a chance of looking
decent - which is the tricky part with nearly everything...

Er, I don't get the thing about "monty's" (prob. because I'm so
'socially challenged')... What I need to do is get my goldang website
online <!!>, including the 3D model of the house alongside some photos.
It's just been something of a madhouse here - got people coming and
going almost daily, for one thing or another, and if it isn't that, it's
putting more stuff away, or a drop in sir pressure (thiunderstorm) that
renders me nearly immobile, or blahblahblah, so I've barely even turned
the computer on since moving in. Boy do I ever envy people who can get
by on only 5 or 6 hours of sleep <g!>
