Where do you turn for professional recognition if you cannot become or do
not desire to become an architect?

I am not a member, as I am working toward my license. I know many governing
bodies in my area are now recognizing AIBD seals for residential submittals.
The AIBD lobbies consistently to get more and more governing bodies to
recognize the AIBD seal.

The exam for certification is not unlike the architects exam, but only
applies to residential and some light commercial applications.

This is not for everyone, I admit. I'm simply letting you know it exists.
