Hello,

Over the past couple of years, I have developed an interest in interior
design, and believe I might have a knack for it. I don't have any
design studies, though. I have a Bachelor's degree in English, which I
received four years ago; a good eye for composition and detail; and a
strong desire to design interiors. I also have some experience with 3D
design software, including 3DS Max (but not AutoCAD, which I know I'll
need).

I'm writing because I would love to get any advice you -- interior
design professionals, interior design students -- might be willing to
offer me. Really, anything: where to get started, good interior design
programs and schools/universities, your experiences as a
professional/student, advice, tips, good books on the subject . . .
