I have had a vole problem for about 2 years. They reside almost exclusively in my rock gardens, which makes them very difficult for me to catch them. The rock gardens are certainly infested, as there are holes and trails everywhere and many roots are chewed away along these trails. Occasionally they make trails into the lawn. Believe it or not, I am happy when they start making trails in the lawn because I can lay down a glue trap or two and catch at least 1 the first day. I just can't figure out how to get rid of these damn things and it's driving me nuts. Glue traps won't work because there are no flat surfaces (even though I have tried glue traps dozens of times to no avail). Decon didn't do anything either.

Below is the primary infestation site - my rock garden waterfall. I think these first 2 pictures show the difficulty in trying to get at them, as they live within the rocks underneath the waterfall and munch on all the vegetation. It's a perfect home for them, unfortunately, and there are trails and holes everywhere!

Here is a close-up of a trail they seem to like...

And finally, here is a new trail that opened up pretty quickly just over a couple days... it's about 20 feet long and heads off to 2 other rock gardens and towards the house.

I am in Colorado if it makes any differece.. any help is greatly appreciated!!
