If that's an autobiographical incident sorry it happened. Am I right in
thinking you've said that bee/wasp stings are muy malo?

| Dude! Glad you're still breathing! Been there with fire ants though,
strangely, my reactions seem to get milder each time. I know that's not the
norm so I feel very lucky. Haven't been to the ER for the last 3 or 4
bites. Had to dose up on benadryl and ice packs but no systemic (hives,
etc.) reaction. I've only been stung by bees, hornets, etc. twice and it
was bad, but not systemic.
I only mountain bike in the winter ;-)

Those are project3ed costs. It's not the first time it's
happened.

Si. Very allergic. And I wasn't going to hire somebody to
relocate the nest for me.

I've gotten pretty immune to fire-ant bites. I can take 3 stings
at a time now and not break out. But if I had gone a few years
without any stings, I'm sure it would be much worse.
That was my first bee sting in probably 15+ years, and they pack
a little more punch than a few ants. Those yellow Jackets are my
worst enemy. Hornets don't seem to bother me.

Those don't look like Honey bees?
Too yellow?
Your bbq would have been free. They can be smoked out.

Fire ants just give me itchy little welts and a pustule.
They itch fiercely. Worse than skeeters.
I'm lucky I'm not allergic to any of the bugs and you have my sympathies.
I'm also immune to poison oak and poison ivy...
but high mold spore counts and oak pollen just about kill me. <sigh>
Guess I've got a tough hide and weak sinuses!
