MrHints.com is a home repair and assembly web site designed to provide FREE information, to everyone who uses it. Our site is always totally free to use, we provide a community bulletin board, free detailed instructional videos, and step-by-step guides to many helpful hints for anyone who has access to the Internet.
Our information is updated daily and the site is growing fast. Again, we are a TOTALLY FREE service for everyone across Canada and the United States, and we plan to eventually be the largest, easy to use source of free household information.
Please look into our site and contact me via phone or email. I have also included an attachment of a recent news article in a Maritime News Paper. We at MrHints would appreciate your help in spreading the word to the public (via television and/or your website), that Mrhints.com is ALWAYS EASY & ALWAYS FREE. I realize that other community bulletin boards are on the Internet, however, I feel our postal code locater design, will help the smaller organizations or individuals that may not have a story large enough to post on other sites. Mrhints Inc. head office is located in Nova Scotia, and we have offices in Oshawa and Woodbridge, Ontario. Thank you again for looking into our story. I look forward to hearing from you soon.

(A recent news paper article had this to say)
Residents looking for a way to fix that leaky tap may find a hint on a new Web Site.
A Nova Scotia Family has a new web site-based business called (Mrhints) The Site can be accessed at no cost at www.mrhints.com
It includes tips on anything that can help a regular family out-how to do a simple repair job or assemble something. This not only helps a person do the job, but also saves them a few dollars at the same time, "said Owner.
The Glace Bay resident once ran the Sears store in Glace Bay and then a carpeting business. He comes from a family of 10.
Coming from a big family . every time you'd turn around there would be someone at the door saying, (How do you do this?)
One day he was asked a question and thought it would be easier to explain if he had it on tape.
Then the idea hit.
"I thought if we had it on film we might be able to help someone out and yet make a dollar."
He brought a group of people together consisting of students, business people and trades people.
Each was asked how to do "nuisance" jobs.
Daigle used for an example, a simple job like fixing a leaky faucet and explain how it can be costly if a trades-person has to take the company truck and go to the job.
"We thought we would help with all of those nuisance calls, things people need on a daily basis".
Daigle set up a studio at his home and with a host of qualified trades-people and technical people, the mrhints.com Web site was born.
The Web site shows MrHints performing tasks from start to finish.
"The easy step-by-step videos and printable instructions, guarantee success to even the most inexperienced beginner," said Daigle.
"(Videos and instructions) are made with the expert advice of local carpenters, plumbers, electricians, photographers, editors, web page designers and a host of others."
Daigle said the site was four years in the making and they are receiving positive comments.
One lady called us after watching our video on fixing a leaky tap, She watched it, went out and bought the part and fixed the tap. She was very pleased with herself and probably saved $70.
The web site is owned by Daigle in partnership with MDS Recording, The Margaree Group, as well as three Ontario residents, Daigle's brother Gerard, son Jimmy and friend Paul.
There are about 50 tips on the site and among the tips are apartment hunting for students, how to install a peephole, student safety on campus, how to combat homesickness, and safety while traveling. There are also hints on first aid, air travel, marine safety and stain removal.
As many as four major hints are added each week.
There are certain jobs they advise people not to tackle on their own, such as electrical work, however they do have simple electrical jobs listed with safety tips.
'We won't tell someone how to wire a home, but we will show someone how to put in a dimmer switch or a fan.
