i have a 2000? b&s 18 horse v-twin vangaurd
generator. will not start with both plugs in..but remove one plug or
the other the motor will start but miss. why wont it start with both
plugs in.....getting spark on both plugs?

USE PLAIN TEXT IN NEWSGROUPS!

Weak battery and/or corroded connection are the most likely.
Old fuel doesn't vaporize well.
Bad starter, weak ignition, timing and valve adjutments are also
possiblities.

Removing the plug reduces the load on the electrical system and makes it
easier to fire the remaning plug under pressure in the cylinder with the
mix.
