GE Profile gas cooktop igniter fires every minute

| GE Profile gas cooktop works fine but the igniter fires in about every
minute, even all switches are in OFF positions. Though the problem does
not affect its functionality, the "snap" sound drives me nuts.
What is the possible problem?
