See picture of my doorbell.

With this style of doorbell is there a way to change the chime, since
we don't like what it currently does? Possibly by moving to different
connectors on the left side, what are the 5 different screws for? One
for each doorbell or could it possibly change the ring as well?

Why not try shorting out connection pairs to see what happens? Low
voltage cant get hurt not dangerous

If your still unhappy buy a new one, they are poretty cheap!
