uncovered the beast today. noticed over the winter the vinyl liner fell out
of the channel (again) on the top that is held in by a strip of some kind of
plastic. last year it happened and i called around and asked how to remedy.
they told me to drain till you can lift it back into place then reapply the
bead. which i did. lasted all summer, with periodical pushing in of the
bead. web sites say no adhesive is needed. but..... im thinking differently.
some silicone or something maybe? anyone else ever have this problem? the
pool is a 16x24 above/in ground hybrid: 1 half is 4' deep, the other is 7'
deep with a average of 3.5' sticking out of the ground.
thanks for any help

I used to wedge small strips of plastic in with the bead so it presses
tighter. Tape may work too, just never tried it.
