Author Edging Recommendations Anyone?

Hi,

I need to find an edging material, that is pro looking and attractive, to
keep a 4" layer of shredded walk-on bark from spilling onto my driveway and
sidewalk. I live in So. Calif., and the landscape style is native/drought
tolerant/woodland. The planting area is defined by redwood bender board,
and there is a used brick walkway/small patio area.

Any Suggestions?
