Whats the biggest thing you've powered with a single eu2000i?

| I'm planning the circuits now for my emergency switch box. It appears
able to power my sump pump, hot water exhaust fan and garage door
opener, at least individually. Do you think it will power a 3/4 HP
blower fan?

One of those 90A (oft times labeled 130A) MIG welders, and a standard
14" chop saw. Both worked OK, but the generator surged at highest
welder settings and whenever I really leaned on the chop saw.

I think so, but it would be best to try before buying if running that
fan is important.

| Ok thanks. What do you mean by 'surged'? Flipped a breaker or just
labored?

| Its rated at 2000 watts, not surge load needed for motor startup, load
it as heavy as you want, you bought it. But for long unit life use it
for how it was designed, not for how much it can do. I would never lend
you my gen.

Engine speed varied up and down. Not laboring that I could tell, it
was more like the governor couldn't make up its mind what to do.

I've used mine to run a 1/2 HP air compressor. It did OK as long as I kept
using air and the compressor didn't shut off. That way I was able to run it
at reduced rpm with the Eco-Throttle on.
I've also used it to run a 3/4 HP pool pump no problem.
I also got it to run a 13,500 RV type air conditioner, but just barely.
