Is there any way to rescue batteries charged a few times at a C/3
rate? I didn't notice the dip switches were in the wrong position and
the capacity of the bats seems to have dropped to about 60%. Charging
didn't go above 13.6 vts, but the bulk charge amps were too high.

AGM/VRLA assumed.

If you boiled off some electrolyte, it is gone. There is no way to put the
Genie back in the bottle.... although.... GNB did have a cell watering
program in place at one time due to some design deficiencies that caused
abnormal water loss.
