| I hope that it is acceptable to post this blatantly commercial
message.
I have a few dozen of military surplus "resilient weapons mounts".
They are pictured here:
http://web.govliquidation.com/aucti...uctionId=739744
(I am talking about the ones with round tops).
They are mounted by bolting four holes in the bottom to the base, and
the engine legs to the hole in the middle of the top, looks like a
5/8" thread.
They have moderately soft rubber, two 1/2" layers, between the 3/16"
steel bodies.
Cadmium finish.
They are rated for 400 lbs of load on every leg. This is an honest
military rating. Military stuff is generally well made.
Original cost $107 apiece.
I want to sell them at $10 each. Four would fit into a priority mail
box for $7.70.
Let me know if you are interested, email to ichudov AT yahoo DOT com.

Well, it's not really, though people with generators might find it
interesting...

http://www.mcmaster.com/ has vibration mounts staring at $4 at that
weight range, and any other style of mount if you want to be able to
pick just the right one.
The link you gave us shows that 80 pieces went for $50...
