The $3000 I spent for replacement windows is a longer term payoff, but
worth the cost for comfort and convenience. You can actually open these.

My point is: They could have done basic insulation in this house decades
ago, and saved a LOT of heating fuel. My neighborhood is loaded with
these underinsulated energy wasters.
