C'mon now Steve. The Indians/Native Americans/First Nations people managed
just fine without guns.

You've got guns. As far as I could tell, every single adult person in
Michigan owns at least one hand-gun. How did that stop your government
trampling all over the freedoms guaranteed in the Constitution when they
introduced the PATRIOT act?

I've got no problem with gun ownership, though I would like every firearm
owner to have to take mandatory safety training, but it clearly doesn't do
much to protect your freedom.
