I haven't the patience to persue my attempts to post to Steve Spence's
forum, so I'll put it here.

You said you were having some trouble making the light work.

I noticed:

you measured .005A @ 12VDC input (6 mW power)
power supply spec says 8W
further down, specs give current draw 529mA

Ya aren't gettin' the juice through it...

Pass on to Larry Barr:
Why are some of your articles in ESSM double column? They are a real
pest to read from the screen.
