| Hello everybody,
i would like to start to use renewable energy at home.
I live in the nearby of Rome (Italy), in a place with lot of sun and (i
think) enough wind.
My idea is to start with a good inverter and few PV panels . In the
future i will add PV panels
and hopely some little wind generators.
In the long term my idea is to resell the excess of energy to the utlity
company that is actually feeding my home.
Definitely the inverter is the core of the system and i want to start
with something reliable and able to support
either the solar and the wind devices.
It must be a grid tied model and the support of a battery bank is a plus
but is a nice to have.
Could you suggest a model/vendor that comply with my requirements?
Thanks a lot

| Hi, Giovanni.
Since nobody else responds, I'll offer the obvious: sniff about in your
region for suppliers/integrators of the sort of systems you seek.
One really good application in your area, as I recollect the typical
weather there, is solar water heating. Heating water can really suck
up btu/calories, which is an issue in a country with little/no fossil
fuel. Unless you prefer cold showers. :')
