Just a headcount ... PA Renewable Energy Festival

| Hola,
I'm planning on going to the previously mentioned Pennsylvania
Renewable Energy Festival. I'm kinda wondering ... is there anyone
else here that intends to attend?
My programming contract is nearing its end, and as the
programmers in here may know, that is the most intense part of the
job. Regardless of that aspect, I have convinced my client that I
really *need* that time off. He has decided that he wants to go as
well, so ...
I would look forward to meeting some of you fellow goofballs
in person. PREF seems to be a good venue for that purpose. (I wonder
if an Outback rep will have a stall?)
There are quite a few people here with whom I would enjoy
shaking hands. If I can make my client 'see the light', then so much
the better!
Anyway, I have made the appropriate arrangements for the care
of my daughter, as well as my other lesser obligations in order to
attend. I look forward to seeing some of you there!
Cordially,
J.

I plan to be there on Saturday. Hope it's possible to browse through
everything in one day. Is that realistic?

The organizers expect about 8,000 people, given MREF's success in
the middle of nowhere :-) Should be fun. You might get a chance to do
some plowing with horses. One of the organizers (Samuel Yoder, a large
animal vet and grease car enthusiast) was at Horse Progress Days a few
weeks ago in Lebanon, PA, watching 12-mule teams plowing...
The Kempton Fairgrounds has gentle hills, with lots of indoor and outdoor
space. There's a large stage with covered seating and plenty of space for
event and camping tents and real vs portable bathrooms. It's right next to
the Wanamaker, Kempton, and Southern Railroad, with 6.5 miles of track
and 4 steam trains a day...
