Instructions on getting hydrogen from cans and Drano and feeding it into
your air intake on your car.
Tell me what you think of this guy's idea.

A caustic bomb under the hood... Sure sounds good to me.

I think it is nothing new.

This idea has been around since I was a kid (1960s). It works if someone
will collect and then give you all of the aluminum cans for free,
however at about $0.70 a pound scrap value why would they? This is just
another 'hydrogen economy' system with aluminum used as the energy
storage media, and a conversion to hydrogen before use in the engine or
fuel cell.

Not all places is the price of metal that high.
Easy to find in the garbage and on the side of the road

| But they ain't giving away caustic soda (NaOH), either. Even if you
got all your scrap aluminum for free, the cost of the caustic consumed
would exceed the energy value of the hydrogen produced.
I've made hydrogen this way myself. Entertaining, and also dangerous.
You needn't ask :> )
You'd probably be money ahead running your car on Chanel #5.

Cute, but ignores the cost of refining the metal in the first place,
this method will always be a NET energy sink, and in no way competes
with the value of gasoline at 60$ a barrel.
The 5 cents deposit probably ought to be a little higher.

I saw on ebay, 10 pounds for $35.
The guy only put in a few ounces of product in the video.

Research the russian aluminium industry. They are now #2 world's producer
and pumping up to produce more.
This could put them as number one which could bring prices down

Correction. $70+ now
