| I'm looking for a sensor like an auto electric fan sensor only that
will turn on at about 80 degrees Fahrenheit. It needs to be rugged
for outside use.
thanks,

what source voltage? How much of a load do you want to run?
You might look into electric heat tapes. If your dealing with 120v one of
them might be able to be modified for your use.

| That's a 'Klixon' thermostat

Voltage isn't too important the best would be 120v and would handle
600ma. But I can run it through a relay if I need to.
Thanks for the tip about electric heat tapes. I'll check them out.

| You need an aquastat, made by Johnson controls. $40 or so and bullet proof.
