Hi

Does anyone know of any companies that supply an aftermarket bolt on
bit of kit that enables your existing oil fired central heating boiler
burn compressed wood pellets?

Cheers

Not likely to find such a Kit, due to the Pellet Burner needing a
burning grate, and ash pit, which isn't needed in a dino burner.....

My boiler is an older cast iron model that could be ordered with or
without fire grates etc., but the one I have is just set up for burning oil.
I have the original owners manual, and it includes instructions for firing
with various types of solid fuel. When I bought my house, a little over 20
years ago, I contacted American Standard to see if these parts were still
available. It was about 12 years since American Standard had discontinued
manufacture of these units at the time, and they were of absolutely no help
whatsoever. They pretty much told me to go away and never bother them again.
I haven't, and I will never deal with them in the future.
I never did find anyone with spare or used parts.
