You mean the output of the electrolyzer is mixed? Then it would be 2 parts
Hydrogen, 1 part Oxygen, so the Hydrogen is only 2/3 of 0.5 liters! Oh,
that changes everything! Lets redo the math!

0,5 L * 2/3 = 0,333333... repeating fraction, round up to nearest
thousandth 0,334 L hydrogen.
0,334 L of h2 gas / 22.4 l per mol(STP ideal gas constant) == 0,014904
moles of H2.
0,014904 * 286kJ/mol = 4,262561 kJ (of energy avail in H2 gas produced)

Actual efficiency .. 4,262561 kJ out / 32.68 kJ in = 13%

Dr Warp shouldn't have squawked!
