| Hello,
I am interested in installing a wind turbine at my cottage. Is there a
"home version" do-it-yourself kit available? Pricing?
The size of my property is 100' by 200' and I have a large clear back
yard to set one up.
Any help would be appreciated.

Can you install a 20-40 foot tower on the property?
Check the local weather wind data base for at least a year. Min-max and
average.
I have a friend that has 4- 450 watt units. He says that they give about 50%
of rated day in and out.

| Hi, goto www.futurenergy.co.uk and opt for the 1kW upwind turbine, which is
ideal for anyone with reasonable DIY skills. I use one of these and got
involved in testing them around 2 years ago, before they came on the market
officially. They really do a good job, and cost a fraction of what any other
company sells a 1kW turbine.

Mag-wind looks interesting, altho I think they only sell to volume builders.
