Haven't been around here for a while...I've been busy! Tool a while to find
an NNTP server...most of 'em been shut down!

I have a 3 phase supply. Transformer on pole, huge copper earth grid buried
below pole, then to meter box, with a smaller copper grid, where earth and
neutral tied together. Then on to main BD, earth leakage unit, and then all
sub feeds.

I have a generator, where neither leg is tied to the frame/earth.

I want to tie one leg of this generator output to neutral/earth BEFORE the
earth leakage unit, and the other, via a changeover relay to phase 3 (before
ECB)

I can find no electrical or safety reason why Can't do this. Comments?
